We selected Thompson Roofing & Siding because of John's ability to work well with insurance adjusters and we were not disappointed. He inspected our roof, identified and photographed storm damage, and contacted our insurance company for us on the same day. One day later we were approved for a new roof. John continued to coordinate with the adjuster on our behalf and he completely explained all the items on the replacement estimate so we fully understood our options. We were having our house painted too and John was extremely flexible with scheduling. We were able to arrange to get everything done in a short 2-week period that we had at the lake. Our new roof, which is fairly large and very steep, was installed in less than 3 days. The crew was excellent and detail oriented. We have a cedar vaulted ceiling laid directly on the roof joists (exposed cedar beams) and everyone was careful to make sure no nails came through during the installation process. I was especially impressed with the roofing crew's cleanup after the job was complete. Not only did they scour the house perimeter for nails and scrap, but they blew leaves and left our patio and deck cleaner than when they started! Our house looks fabulous! John is 100% dedicated to customer service and throughout this whole process I felt like a valued customer. I have already recommended Thompson Roofing & Siding to others and will continue to do so.

While he might be an OK roofer John's professional skills leave a lot to be desired. After his company completed a full tear off and repair, over budget and late, we had him do a small repair, the invoice was $100. Less than two weeks after I received the invoice I received several profanity laced text threatening to tear off the repair if he was not paid immediately. We had an agreement he would be paid the next time we returned to the lake. Instead all I got was abuse and profanity by text. Great way to treat a customer. I would not used this company again.
